Aidan Ross set a course record last weekend, and then he earned an exclusive honor.

The Uxbridge (MA) High School junior secured National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance honors after accumulating 38-percent of the vote and over 700 tallies.

He won the Week 15 vote by virtue of his stellar performance at the MIAA Division 3 state championships, where he set a new course record of 14:47.11 in Wrentham and became the only athlete to under 15 minutes at the venue all-time.

Crater's (OR) Tyrone Gorze was second with 21-percent of the vote, while Bridgewater-Raritan's Marco Langon was third with 15-percent.

A big congrats goes out to Ross and all the nominees.

Now let's move on to Week 16 of the NPOTW XC poll.

Make sure you vote for whom you think should win this week's honor. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes.

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

For NPOTW winners dating all the way back to July 12, we haven't forgotten about you! We have kept track of your information and will email you once the New Balance order goes out. Stay tuned!

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
