Izaiah Steury remains undefeated in 2021.

The Angola (IN) High School senior secured National Boys Performer of the Week presented by New Balance honors on Friday after securing 41 percent of the vote.

Steury was coming off a big win at the Riverview Health Invitational, where he took down two of Indiana's top runners, Kole Mathison and Krishna Thirunavukkarasu, in a season best time of 14:51.03.

It marked his second straight performance under 15 minutes.

Other runners receiving significant votes were Keegan Smith (715 votes) and Leo Young (353 votes).

A big congrats goes out to Steury, our Week 6 winner, and all the nominees from this past week.

Now let's move on to Week 7 of the NPOTW XC poll.

Make sure you vote for whom you think should win this week's honor. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes.

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
