With Utah's state cross country championships approaching on Wednesday in Salt Lake City, a 5A-6A Divisional champion took top honors in Week 10 of the National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance poll.

Lehi (UT) senior Jefferson McMullin cruised to the finish with a resounding amount of votes, taking just over 50-percent of the poll with 1,690 tallies.

Hope Christian's (NM) Rendon Kuykendall was second with 1,160 votes.

McMullin earned the honor by virtue of his first-place outing at the Utah 5A-6A Divisional race in 15:28.90. While it wasn't the fastest performance of his career, it certainly may have been his best.

A big congrats goes out to Jefferson on the win.

Now let's move on to Week 11 of the NPOTW XC poll.

Make sure you vote for whom you think should win this week's honor. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes.

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

For NPOTW winners dating all the way back to July 12, we haven't forgotten about you! We have kept track of your information and will email you once the New Balance order goes out. Stay tuned!

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
