The California State Cross Country Championships consisted of many strong races across the board.

In the Divison 4 Championships, Sophia Nordenholz caught many eyes after her performance. The Albany senior ran the fastest time of the day on the Woodwark Park course.

The University of Washington signee ran a lifetime best for 5K in 16:46.00 as she claimed the individual title. Her performance became the fifth-fastest time in state history.

Throughout the week, Nordenholz earned just over 300 votes to claim this week's National Performer Of The Week presented by New Balance winner. Congratulations!
