Another week, another wild NPOTW race.

For Week 11 of the National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance boys poll, two athletes traded blows until the very end.

But it was Francis Parker (CA) High School senior Kenan Pala who was granted the final nod on Friday, as the Californian won top honors after accruing 42-percent of the vote on 2,300 tallies.

St. Charles East (IL) senior Micah Wilson was second overall with 2,168 votes.

Pala won by virtue of his breakthrough moment at the Mt. SAC Invitational, which saw the Yale University recruit run the second-fastest performance on the 3-mile course all-time in 14:24.

A big congrats goes out to Pala on the win.

Now let's move on to Week 12 of the NPOTW XC poll.

Make sure you vote for whom you think should win this week's honor. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes.

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

For NPOTW winners dating all the way back to July 12, we haven't forgotten about you! We have kept track of your information and will email you once the New Balance order goes out. Stay tuned!

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
