Back-to-back wins.

Kevin Sanchez of Austin Vandegrift (TX) secured his second straight National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance honor following a week where he dusted off a career best performance for 5K.

The Texan ran a U.S. No. 2 performance of 14:44.80 at the FEAST Invitational to secure his third straight win. In the ensuing week, he earned over 800 votes and nearly 54-percent of the vote, nabbing his second straight win.

Sanchez is among a handful of athletes in NPOTW history to win two straight times.

We want to send some big ups to Kevin, and the rest of the nominees.

Now let's move on to Week 5 of the NPOTW XC poll.

Make sure you vote for whom you think should win this week's honor. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes.

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
