Miles Ally secured the bag on Friday, winning Week 7 of National Performer of the Week.

The Nashville Martin Luther King senior (right) registered over 66-percent of the vote and an incredible 2,680 tallies to win the honor.

It came after Ally, an NC State recruit, secured one of his top track and field performances, authoring a 3,200m career best time of 8:56.29 at the Great Eight Invitational.

Ally followed that effort this weekend at his Tennessee district sectional in the 800m and 1,600m, winning both races. His season continues.

A big congrats goes out to Ally -- and all the other nominees -- on another successful week of voting.

Now let's move on to Week 8. We'll have seven candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll.
