A sprint to the finish won Evan Kraus the bag for Week 3.

The Erie (CO) High School junior claimed National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance honors after securing an impressive win at the Windsor Wizards Invitational.

Setting a new personal best mark for 3 miles, Kraus posted an overall time of 15:19.80. He followed up this weekend with another victory, earning his second win at the Cherry Creek Steve Lohman Invitational in 15:41.00.

As a result, Kraus earned just over 3,100 votes and 53-percent of the tallies. Brookhaven's Grayson Childress was second with just over 2,000 votes.

A big congrats goes out to Evan on the honor.

Now let's move on to Week 3 of the NPOTW XC poll.

Make sure you vote for whom you think should win this week's honor. Voting will end Friday, and we'll recognize the winner every Monday during the unveiling of the newest poll. Better yet, each boy and girl winner will win a pair of New Balance shoes.

We are requesting winners (or their parents or coaches) from each week to email Cory Mull at cory.mull@flosports.tv and Olivia Ekpone at olivia.ekpone@flosports.tv to notify us of your contact.

Vote below in the poll and let us know your thoughts in the comments. You can also vote in our National Girls Performer of the Week poll.
