For one recent one-month stretch, Vidhur Polam was on a roll.

The South Brunswick High school senior and University of Pennsylvania signee won three straight cross country races from Oct. 30 to Nov. 25, including an impressive victory on at the Holmdel Invitational.

But he didn't go by unnoticed.

This past week, he was rewarded with National Performer of the Week honors, taking the Week 15 distinction after his time of 15:32.00 at the Holmdel course. He accumulated over 2,000 votes and 46-percent of the tallies en route to the win.

Polam followed on Dec. 5 with a fourth-place finish at the very competitive East Coast Cross Country Championships. A big congratulations goes out to Polam on the honor.
