A freshman took National Performer of the Week honors for Week 6.
But what a peformance it was for Marcus Reilly, a first-year Northbridge (MA) High School athlete who broke national freshman class records in the 1,000m and 1,500m at The VA Showcase last week.
Reilly ran away with last week's poll, earning 70-percent of the vote following his effort of 2:31.43 in the 1K and his en route time of 4:00.05 in the 1,500m.
A big congrats goes out to Reilly on the distinction.
Now let's move on to Week 7 of our indoor national performer of the week honor.
