It's National Signing Day. Here's Your Need-To-Know Hub.

We are exactly a week away from National Signing Day, the first date for which track and field athletes across the United States can officially sign with NCAA programs.

The National Letter of Intent period opens on Nov. 8 and will remain open until Aug. 1, 2024.

National Signing Day remains a significant marker for athletes in track and field, as programs tend to sign top-notch recruits over that first week and lock in scholarship offers.

Over the last several months we've been logging and tracking commitments from across the U.S.

But many athletes are saving their promises for that fateful day on Nov. 8.

MileSplit will have expansive coverage of signing day over the next week.

Below, you will find some of our best content and stories over the last year, many of which tracked the recruiting landscape nationally.

If you are ranked on our top 50 recruits in the Class of 2024 and would like to be featured on our Instagram, please send us a pre-recorded vertical video of your commitment (before Nov. 8) or signing (on or after Nov. 8) at signings@milesplit.com.

MORE ON SEC TRACK AND FIELD RECRUITING

While no one would compare the state of track and field spending to NCAA football teams -- an Athletic report in 2022 revealed that Texas had spent $280,000 on one weekend to nab coveted No. 1 recruit Arch Manning -- there is no doubt that track and field leaders are spending money, and much of it is not inconsequential.
