Allie Zealand, MileSplit's No. 21 recruit in the Class of 2024, made her decision over the weekend, as Pacers Homeschool athlete announced she's staying home and will be attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Zealand has made quite the name for herself during her high school career, showing impressive range from the 1,600m to the 5,000m.
On the track, Zealand has run 4:44.45 for the mile, 10:10.87 for two miles and complimented those performances by a 17:05 5K on the grass.
She's also qualified for Foot Locker Nationals over the last two years, finishing 36th in 2021 and eighth in 2022.
Zealand was also a member of the United States' World U20 Cross Country team, where she finished 34th in the world in January.
Zealand should be a factor for the Flames, who finished runner-up at the Conference USA Championships just a few weeks ago.
