National Girls Performer Of The Week (8/16-8/22)

Lowell's senior opened up the cross country season at the Crown Point Invitational. Karina James won the meet in 18:38 for 5K and with a speed rating of 133. She was the only athlete to break 20 minutes at this meet. 

Last season, she was undefeated throughout the fall and even won her first cross country state title.

Last week, she earned about 67-percent of the votes with over 110 tallies. Congratulations James on the strong start to the season.

Now let's move on to week 2 of the cross country season National Performer of the Week presented by New Balance poll.
