It's been a busy season for the sophomore from Orono, Maine.

At her first appearance at the Maine Class C State Cross Country Championship, Ruth White won her first individual state title and helped Orono to a team victory by seven points over Houlton.

She was the first athlete to cross the finish line with a 17:31.92 in a solo effort.

Throughout the week, she collected 74-percent of the votes with nearly 1,300 tallies. Congratulations White on winning your first cross country title and remaining undefeated this season.
