5. A Historic Season For A Connecticut Triple Jumper

- - -

Sean Dixon-Bodie was a man on a mission over his final indoor campaign.

The Bloomfield (CT) senior and recently-minted Louisiana State University signee set his goals as high and as far as he wanted, and then he made sure he capitalized on them, becoming one of the best jumpers of all-time in 2020.

While he came up a little short of the national record in the triple jump, he did find himself at No. 3 all-time with his jump of 52-1.75 from The NYRR Millrose Games.

The recent LSU commit had two other jumps that were also over 50 feet. His first 50-footer mark came at the The 25th Hispanic Games, when he went 51-6.5, and then he followed at The VA Showcase, launching off for a mark of 50-9.25.

He was set to take one more shot at a national record attempt at NBNI before his season ended.
