Zavien Wolfe Continues To Flourish

While he may have self-admitted to a "sloppy" second phase, Memphis Central senior Zavien Wolfe moved up the national rankings on Saturday at the Arkansas High School Invitational, connecting for the country's first 50-foot triple jump.
Wolfe won the event with a winning mark of 15.25m (50-0.5), clearing the next best competitor by seven inches. He also improved upon his early-season best of 49-1.75.
But Wolfe wasn't finished, either.
The burgeoning Tennessee star also claimed a win in the long jump, hitting the board for a winning mark of 23-8.75.
Wofle now owns the top two performances in the country for the long and triple jumps.
