The 10 Athletes At Bojangles You Won't Want To Miss

Event: 800m

Breakdown: The single most competitive event at Bojangles will be in the boys 800m, where Woods will face Hilton Head's (SC) Sam Gilman and Hardin Valley's (TN) Miguel Parrilla. If these guys hammer through 600m at a decent clip, there's a great likelihood that they'll be marching toward their seed times of 1:52 and 1:53.

It's still early in the season, so times aren't always representative of actual potential. So if it becomes tactical from the gun, or if all three athletes sit on each other, then it'll be a race to the line. And at that point, don't count out Woods, who's got a nasty final sprint -- just watch his state title win in the 1K from the indoor season (above).
