After three months of cross country racing, the fastest girls on the high school circuit can finally take a break from rewriting the record books week after week.
From Athens (Ohio) standout Sophia Szolosi opening the season up with a statement win under the lights in August, to Moriarty (N.M.) star Carmen Dorsey-Spitz claiming the Brooks West XC Championship just last week, this season truly had it all.
Now that the campaign is officially complete, it's time to crown the National Performer of the Year, selecting from the 16 athletes who earned NPOTW honors throughout the 2025 season.
The National Performer of the Year poll will close at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday, December 18, with the winner announced shortly after.
