Breakdown: He's one of four athletes right now with clearances of 7-feet in the high jump. That successful jump at the Apex Lions Relays marked the first time since June 24 that McBride cleared the height -- and perhaps that momentum will lead to some even bigger gains.
Over the last two seasons, he's cleared 6-10 three times and 7-feet twice. McBride also is a confident triple jumper who's gone 47-3.25.
