Brynn Brown ran away with National Performer honors this past week after her huge win at the Texas Distance Festival's elite 5K race.

The Denton Guyer senior earned a US No. 1 effort and meet record of 16:25.47.

Garnering over 2,000 votes and over 63-percent of the tallies, she also slid past second-place Kenondra Davis, who earned over 1,100 votes, in National Performer of the Week voting.

A big congrats goes out to Brynn on the win!
