Can anyone break 1:50?
That did not happen last year, but everyone is on the cusp here, with Chawonza (1:50.57) ready to break that wall. Peralta will be a compelling runner, too, considering he hasn't focused on a really fast open 800m and comes in with the best outdoor time of the bunch (1:49.10).
Maton's time could give us a glimpse of what he's capable of in the mile. If he goes 1:49-high, that could go a long way in dictating the kind of race he could put together over the outdoor season.
