Tuohy ran 4:39.15 earlier this season in a Millrose Trial, while Starliper won the high school edition of the Millrose Games in 4:41.66.
Tactics will be important from the start, and there's a chance Starliper could win with a great plan.
Historically, Starliper has shown great leg speed down the stretch of her races, but Tuohy has run a faster 800m PR from this season (2:12.47 vs. Starliper's 2:15.06), so that's not a given, either.
Starcher is the nation's No. 3 miler (4:45.14), Parks is ranked No. 4 (4:46.34), and Sumner s No. 9 (4:51.43).
