with westspringfield\'s 7:56, TJ\'S 7:57, Oakton\'s 7:59, with numerous others hovering about 8:00, can anyone run under 7:50 to beat Forest Park?

I think it will be difficult for any VA team with the exception of FUMA to beat Forest Park. I could see them potentially challenging Forge\'s 7:46 from last year. But West Springfield, TJ, and Oakton are all very good teams, and with Spooner and Leo Walker WS could be right up there.

No, they wouldnt. West Springfield and Forest Park would beat them probably by 10 seconds maybe more. Then they still would have to beat solid teams in TJ, Oakton, and probably Hermitage. Hoepker\'s 1:54 gets matched by both Spooner and Williams. The 1:57 leg gets matched and probably beaten by both Crosson and Shea from FP, and Leo Walker from WS. After that FP has yet another sub 2 leg, as is so with both of WS\'s other guys. Still, I think they could def put together something solid in the 7:58-8:02 range

I am really interested to see how the Deep Creek and Western Branch guys do at states in the event...especially considering they both have team titles on the line. Most of these guys are converted up from 400 and still learning to race the 800 every week. Not saying they are going to contend for the win, but they might finish high enough to surprise some people and more importantly pick up key points for both squads pushing towards a state team title.

I am also interested in those two teams. Keonta Coleman really has become a pretty solid 800 runner with his 1:58. I bet Daniel Nix could even run in the 1:56 range.

Javanti\'s split was 1:57 in that 4x800...talking with their coach, he said Nix is faster, he ran a 1:56 in team time trials. That sure would make the 4x800 an interesting race at States.

What kind of times did the other 2 run? I heard Werner split a 2:01. Total time was 8:08.30. If Nix tries to run an all out leg on the 3200M relay, he will suffer in the 400 or 200 trials. Just my opinion.

The other split was a 1:58 and the last was a 2:08. The 2:08 came because of a wipe out; he tripped and fell flat on his face. I think he would have gone 2 flat.

Sparrow 1:57 and some change, Werner 2:01 plus=3:58., 1:58 and 2:08=4:06
3:58+4:06=8:04. Don\'t think so. Sparrow probably went 2:00. (still a great time for someone who doesn\'t run the 800), Werner 2:01, 2:00, 2:07. (with the trip). That\'s more like it (8:08.) I think my math skills are correct.

From what i heard at the northern region meet spooner split 1:53 , i think that if he gets another second out it makes it a free for all between the two teams

wow, 1:53!? well that could change alot of things. If he was to drop a 1:52 at states then FP might have their hands full. The Spooner vs Williams matchup is going to be critical in this race. Williams seems to race good in the relays at least. And if they are both on point, I could very well see both FP and WS under the 7:50 barrier with some decent breathing room. This is going to be quite the race, I cant wait to see this one unfold
