Analysis: Even though Forysth didn't compete during the fall, her spring season was a prelude to what we could potentially see from Forsyth this 2023 season.
She clocked 2:09 in the 800m and 4:44 in the 1,600m to earn her first set out MHSAA State Outdoor Championship titles. The senior continued that momentum to New Balance Nationals Outdoor in the mile where she set a personal best of 4:41 to finish sixth and have the 12th-fastest time in the nation.
Forsyth ran personal bests of 2:06 in the 800m for U.S. No. 18 and 10:17 in the 3,200m to be in the top 36 in the nation.
