This may be a little controversial. At no time in the history of high school sprinting have we had this level of talent right now in girls track and field.
The likes of Mia Brahe-Pedersen, Shawnti Jackson and Adaejah Hodge are among the country's top talents and the first two have already broken 23 seconds for the distance (Hodge has gone 22.3 recently, though it was not wind-legal).
All that being said, 22.11 still seems like an untouchable record.
The next closest mark is 22.43, which was last achieved in 2015 by former standout Candace Hill.
If we had to guess, Brahe-Pedersen, Jackson and Hodge will all break 22.4 this year.
Those next three tenths, however, will have to be the next to go.
