* Victoria Cameron won the 4A 100m title in 11.35 with a rocket block start

The starting gun went off and she was gone.

Victoria Cameron of Stephenville (TX) was the first girl out of the blocks and the first one to the finish line in the 4A 100m finals.

Within the first 20m, no one was able to stop her. She was able to separate herself from the rest of the field with her powerful knee drive down the straightaway.

When she crossed the finish line, a collective gasp let out. Cameron was able to grab the victory with a wind-legal performance of 11.35 (+1.5).

But how astonishing was this performance?

Cameron, the Tarleton soccer commit, was just off Sha'Carri Richardson's 11.28 (+2.0) meet record from 2017.
