National Girls Performer Of The Week (12/5-12/11)

The indoor season is here and Mar. Highland's (OH) Juliette Laracuente-Huebner started it with a bang.

At the Findlay's Dave's Running High School Series #1 meet in Ohio, Laracuente-Hubner opened up her season with personal bests in the high jump and triple jump. She leaped to a 5-9 and a 41-8.5 to take the victory. 

She also finished fourth in the 60mH with a 8.81.

During the week, the National Girls Performer Of The Week earned 47-percent of the votes.

This weekend, the cross country season came to an end with Karrie Baloga winning the Champs Sports Cross Country Nationals in San Diego, while indoor meets were in full swing across the country.

The poll will end on Friday and winners will be announced the following Monday. It's now time to vote for our next winner.

Here are the nominations for the National Girls Performer Of The Week Poll:

Karrie Baloga, Cornwall (NY): It was a fight all the way through the finish and Baloga was able to win her first Champs Sports Cross Country National title in San Diego. She clocked a 16:49.2 and earned a 167 speed rating. 

Shakayla Lavender, Oscar Smith (VA): At the Virginia Beach Opener, the freshman clocked an 8.11 in the 55mH which puts her at US No. 3 in this event. 

Reagan Riley, Mountain Brook (AL): The Notre Dame signee opened her indoor season at the Holiday Invitational #2 in the 3,200m. She ran a new personal best and US No. 1 time of 10:34.51. 

Charlotte Bell, Cuthbertson (NC): The junior won the Liberty Flames Invitational with a 4:47.84 in the 1,600m. She also ran a US No. 1 and North Carolina state record in the 1K with a 2:49.32.

Laila Campbell, Spring Grove (PA): At the Alvernia Holiday Classic, Campbell clocked a 7.56 in the 60m. 

India Alix, Klein (TX): Alix leaped to great distances at the North Texas Showcase. She set two personal bests jumps of 20-11.5 and 42-5.75 in the long and triple jump. 

Cady McPhail, Chelsea (AL): The senior won the Holiday Invitational #1 in the 800m with a US No. 1 performance of 2:15.16.
