Pennsylvania has had some sterling pole vault performers over the last four years, from Mackenzie and Sydney Horn to all-time state lead Katie Jones.
Over the weekend, Timberg entered into elite company, posting an incredible personal record of 13 feet, 4.5 inches. That mark represented a seven-inch improvement from her career best over the last indoor season (12-9), and sets Timberg up as one of the top vaulters in the country.
Timberg currently stands at US No. 3. She became the 10th-performer in Pennsyvlania history to eclipse the 13-foot mark, too.
