    9. Talitha Digg's Season-Long Consistency

    - - -

If 2019 was Talitha Diggs' breakout year, her 2020 indoor season was a major reinforcement of that idea.

The daughter of Olympian Joetta Clark-Diggs, Talitha scored three state championships and three All-American honors in 2019. But in 2020, the Saucon Valley (PA) High School senior and University of Florida sprinter ramped it up. She was arguably one of the -- if not the -- most consistent sprinters in the country, scoring US top 5 marks in the 55m, 200m, 300m and 400m.

She lost just once over 2020, in a superb 300m field at The VA Showcase featuring Athing Mu and Kayla Davis, and recorded indoor career bests in every distance she tried this indoor season. That included marks of 6.38 in the 55m (US No. 3), 7.46 in the 60m (US No. 8), 23.79 in the 200m (US No. 4), 37.67 in the 300m (US No. 4) and 53.98 in the 400m (US No. 4).
