Nike South Invitational
The boys race at the Nike South Invitational was a battle between three of Texas' best guys. Flower Mound's Jarrett Kirk, La Porte's Ryan Schoppe, and Flower Mound's Alex Maier. The three would finish in that exact order with Kirk earning the win running 14:51.50; the three were the only ones to run sub-15 minutes for the three-mile course. The team title was won by Flower Mound who scored 47 points.
