Roy Griak Invitational
We've highlighted the boys race from the Roy Griak Invitational as the Kick of the Week, but the girls race had just as many sparks. Minneapolis Washburn High School's Emily Covert earned the win running a new course record time of 17:28. She broke the old course record by over 17 seconds. The ladies from Yorkville High School (IL) went to Minnesota and took the win scoring 104 points. The MileSplit50 No.12-ranked squad upset MileSplit50 No. 4-ranked Naperville North High School and MileSplit 50 No. 2-ranked Wayzata High School.
