In a dominating effort at the 44th annual Bell-Jeff Loyola Invitational, the Loyola (California) High boys, ranked No. 8 in the national rankings, punished the rest of the field with a score of 16 points, finishing its scoring five in the top six places, its sixth in seventh and its seventh runner in the top 15. 

With a 39-second spread and 14:56 average between the scoring runners, Loyola flew on the Griffith Park Course and was led by senior David McAndrews, who finished first in 14:38.00.
