As we head into the final few weeks of the 2025 outdoor campaign, we've witnessed one of the greatest seasons a thrower has ever had, as Nixa's (Mo.) Jackson Cantwell has stayed undefeated while notching the second best throw in high school history of 76-11.25. Cantwell is joined by Katy's (Texas) Adam Carter, who is the only other athlete to eclipse 70-0 feet this season. However, there have still been nearly 130 boys who have thrown at least 60-0.

Here are the most improved boys in the shot put compared to last season.
