Abby Colbert successfully defended her 2014 state title. She improved on last year's 18:23 to come away with the fastest overall time in 18:04. Finishing second was sophomore Tashala Turner in in 18:51. Turner helped her University High team finish on top with 47 points.
It was a dominant performance from Seth Edwards to win the AAA boys championship race by nearly 15 seconds and earn the fastest overall time on the day. Further back in the AAA field, the Cabell Midland boys were running together with a solid pack that crossed 6-7-8-9 to score the boys team title at 37 points.
