Top 15 Girls Performers Of New Balance Nationals

1. Kate Hall (ME) - Long Jump Champ (National Record!)

When a record is broken, the quality of the performance is usually measured by the length of time that the old record stood. Well if that is truly the case then Kate Hall did something especially historic in breaking a 39 year old high school national record in the girls long jump. The most decorated Maine state champion leaped to a US #1 all-time mark of 22'5" in the long jump on the final day of the 2015 New Balance Nationals.

Her incredible leap in Greensboro also breaks the U.S. junior record in the event and would have taken runner-up with that mark at the NCAA Championships this past month. The long jump was not Hall's only lifetime best performance of the meet as she also placed third in the 100 meter dash finals on Saturday in a new PR clocking of 11.37.
