After clocking a new U.S. No. 1 time for the mile and capturing a new personal best, Sadie Engelhardt of Ventura (CA) claimed the victory in Week 5 of our National Performer of the Week presented by Firefly poll, narrowly winning over Haverford Township's (PA) Olivia Cieslak

Winners of our indoor NPOTW program will receive a Firefly Recovery starter kit from our presenting sponsor. For athletes interested in Firefly Recovery, you can also use promo code MILESPLIT to receive 15-percent off any Firefly Recovery Starter kit purchase.

Engelhardt was flying at the New Balance Grand Prix on February 4th in the girls international mile. She defended her title and then some, scoring a new personal best of 4:34.45 -- which is now ranked fourth all-time at the distance. For her effort, she nabbed over 3,500 votes and 44-percent of the voting -- just about 100 more votes than Cieslak.

With a weekend filled with fast-times and records being broken both at Boston University and the 116th Millrose Games, we have five new deserving nominees on this weeks poll.

Just like last week, voting will close on Friday at 12:00 p.m. Winners of our indoor NPOTW program will receive a Firefly Recovery starter kit from our presenting sponsor.

Email us at signings@milesplit.com with your email address.

With that being said, have fun voting!

THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

---

Sole Frederick, Druid Hills (GA): Frederick pulled down the double at the TFCUSA Indoor Championship in Alabama, clocking times of 7.53 and 23.55 in the 60m and 200m, respectively.

Sydney Sutton, Bullis School (MD): Sutton took down a talented 300m field at the Millrose Games and won the event in 37.51 seconds.

Alivia Williams, Montverde Academy (FL): Williams continued her torrid run through the high school season, lowering the U.S. No. 1 time in the 600m with a performance of 1:03.79 to win the distance at the Millrose Games.

Kya Crooke, Indianapolis Heritage Christian (IN): Crooke cleared 5 feet, 8 inches in the high jump to claim the win at Eastern Indoors, giving her two bars over 5-8 on the season.

Avery Lewis, Friends' Central (PA): Lewis was in a league of her own on Sunday at the PTFCA Indoor Carnival, pocketing a new Pennsylvania state record in the long jump with a mark of 21 feet, 6 inches. That puts her at No. 4 all-time.

Veronica Vacca, Mount Saint Joseph (PA): In the pole vault, clearing high heights matter. But at the end of the day, competing is the No. 1 objective and on Sunday Vacca took down the nation's No. 1 vaulter, Jathiyah Muhammad, at the Millrose Games, clearing 14-1.25 to nab a new career best and a U.S. No. 4 mark.
