Collecting her first regional title as a freshman, Paige Sheppard is this past week's National Performer of the Week.

Last weekend, the young New Jersey star took first at NXR Northeast, clocking a time of 18:12.20. Sheppard was the only underclassmen to place among the top 10 and her push broke the seven-year standing freshman meet record.

She earned 63-percent of the votes and was named this past week's National Performer of the Week.

Now it's time to vote for this week's NPOTW. The poll will end Friday and the winner will be announced next Monday.

This Week's Nominees:

Addison Ritzenhein, Niwot (CO): Among the top distance runners in the Class of 2026, this sophomore showed her perseverance this weekend in rainy Portland. Ritzenhein took the lead at the 4K mark ahead of fellow sophomore Elizabeth Leachman and led herself to the finish, taking the tape in 17:10.40. Her effort led the Niwot ladies to a second-place finish.

Evelyn Prodoehl, Lakota West (OH): This Ohio junior closed an impressive undefeated season with 11 wins at the RunningLane XC Championships in Huntsville. Prodoehl took the lead from Morgan Boonshaft with 1K left to go and held on through the mud until the end, finishing in 17:32.80.

Sidney Nolan, Patriot High School (VA): The Virginia sprinter's season opener at the Winter Jacket Classic in Manassas proved successful. The senior took home a new career best in the 500m, running 1:13.65. Her time is the second fastest time for the senior class.

Daisy Luna, Hoover (AL): Coming off of a national title last March at Nike Indoor in the 400m as a freshman, the sophomore scored a new personal best this weekend at the Magic City Invite in Birmingham, finishing in 55.97. Luna currently ranks No. 1 among indoor returners in Alabama for the event.

Jessica Jazwinski, Hart (MI): Set to perform at Foot Locker this upcoming weekend, the Michigan junior officially opened her indoor season with a new personal best in the 1,600m at the Grand Valley State meet on Saturday. Barely out of cross country season, Jazwinski pushed to a 4:48.98 time, placing her among the top 40 times in Indoor history. She shaved off five seconds from her best last year.
