She might be just a sophomore, but Charlize-Trinity McKenzie of Cedarburg (WI) put together one of the top marks in the country last weekend.

At the CYUP Misfits Invite presented by HOKA, the Wisconsin star clocked a nation-leading mark in the 600m with a 1:31.65. 

After earning nearly 54-percent of the votes, she was named this week's National Girls Performer Of The Week presented by Firefly. Next up is Week 4. 

Below are six new nominees from last week's action on the track.

Voting will end on Friday at 12:00 p.m.

National Girls Performer Of The Week Presented By Firefly: Week 2



This Week's Nominees:

Sidney Nolan, Patriot (VA): This senior clocked one of the fastest times in the country so far this year in the 500m. At the Bulldog Invitational, she went 1:14.44 to claim the title. 

Caroline Beiting, Lexington Catholic (KY): The Kentucky standout claimed the Southeast Showdown title in the 800m with a 2:12.60. 

Emma Zawatski, Freehold Township (NJ): Zawatski had a big weekend at the BU John Thomas Terrier Classic as she clocked a lifetime best of 4:45.96 in the mile. 

Gabriella Cunningham, Grandview (CO): Cunningham sprinted to a U.S. No. 3 performance in the 55mH at the USATF All Comers 3 meet. She clocked 7.83 and became the fifth girl this season to go sub 8 seconds in this event. 

Madeleine Fey, Midlothian (TX): At the Oklahoma HS Indoor meet, the Kansas recruit threw a lifetime best of 48-6 in the shot put. So far this season, she's the only girl who has gone over 47 feet in this event. 

Abigail Russell, Michigan Elite Throws (MI): Every time Russell has stepped into the ring she's improved each meet in the weight throw. Over the weekend she launched a new personal best of 56-4 to win the MITS - GVSU #4 meet
