Have a day, Jayden Mims-Horton.

At the Armory Officials Hall of Fame Invitational, Mims-Horton of Imhotep Institute Charter (PA) lined against Quincy Wilson of Bullis School (MD) in the varsity gold 300m.

Both athletes were coming off weekends that consisted of personal bests.

Mims-Horton competed at the Kristian Marche Memorial Invitational and ran a new lifetime best of 47.60 to win the 400m title. On the other hand, Wilson also raced the previous weekend at the VA Showcase and clocked a No. 2 all-time performance in the 500m.

In New York, they met right in the middle for a lap-and-a-half race.

Mims-Horton raced his first 300m race of his career and he left New York with an all-time performance.

The junior clocked a blazing 32.92, which is the seventh-fastest time in high school history. He also became the seventh boy as well to dip under 37 seconds in this distance.

The sophomore finished second with a lifetime mark of 33.12, which respectively puts him No. 9 on the all-time list. This makes him the second-fastest sophomore in history behind Tyrese Cooper's 32.87 from 2019.

In the 1K, Isabel Conde De Frankenberg of Cedar Park (TX) ran the fastest time in the U.S. this season with a 2:47.60. Bullis School's Colin Abrams once again put down a fast time this year as he ran a new U.S. No. 1 mark of 2:27.63. Abrams also won the boys 600m title in 1:20.84.

Also at this meet, Saratoga Springs (NY) put together a new U.S. leading performance in the DMR as the boys came together and won the title in 10:21.80.

In the sandpit, Winslow Township's (NJ) Ma'Syiah Brawner leaped to the nation's eighth-best long jump this season with a 19-3.5.
