It's time to celebrate the moments caught on camera.
In 2022, our photographers across the MileSplit network captured scenes encompassing emotion, strength, skill and more.
More importantly, the thousands of images taken throughout the year showcase the athletes behind the times and marks, the moments beyond the finishes and even more of the nuances that make high school track and field and cross country so special.
We've broken this year's photo selections into four categories -- images taken "on the oval," "in the field," "on the course," "under the lights" and "post race."
Continue scrolling below and enjoy some of the best photos of 2022 from around the MileSplit network.
