After a close second-place finish to Saratoga Springs at the Burnt Hills Cross Country Invitational, the Bethlehem Central (NY) girls put a strong effort forward at the Albany County Championships in New Scotland Town Park.

The Eagles, the No. 25 girls team on the MileSplit50 rankings, finished 1-2-5-6-7 to solidify the win with 21 points over Shaker (NY) and Guilderland's (NY) 63 and 76 points. The champions showed pure dominance as the top five scorers had a 27-second spread.

The Eagles were led by senior Rylee Davis and sophomore Charlotte O'Meara, who finished first and second overall in 15:02 and 15:05.
