North Allegheny's Girls (and Boys) Dominate, Double Up At Boardman

Boys Division I Varsity Results
Just west of Pittsburgh, across the border in Youngstown, Ohio, the North Allegheny boys and girls programs trekked to the Boardman Invitational.
And fresh off a loss to preseason No. 23 ranked Morgantown High School at the Red, White and Blue Classic last week, the North Allegheny girls responded, completely dominating their competition with 29 points to take the win in resounding fashion.
Led by sophomore standout Wren Kucler, the preseason MileSplit50 No. 17 ranked Tigers saw four scorers inside the first six places and their fifth in 13th overall.
Overall, North Allegheny's girls averaged 19:27 for 5K. Medina was second with 120 points.
Meanwhile, fellow North Allegheny sophomore Jack Bertram won the boys race in 15:57.00, a full three seconds ahead of Solon's James Howell, who crossed the line in 16:00.50.
The North Allegheny boys scored boys inside the top 15 and their entire five inside the top 30 places.
