Tasty Race of the Week: Roisin vs. Sophia In The 1K

What a wild race. 

On Friday, January 14, at The VA Showcase, we saw the No. 4 and No. 5 performances in the girls 1K all-time.

And it was a battle!

Stevens Point's (WI) Roisin Willis set the tone early, Moses Brown's (RI) Sophia Gorriaran made a move deep into the race, and then, well, an epic duel took place in the final steps.

For reference, Willis now owns two all-time performances inside the top five at the distance. She ran the No. 2 effort a year ago in 2:41.53.
