As a sophomore, Gorriaran was ranked in the top 15 in the nation in events ranging from the 300m to the 1K.

Her talents also qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 800m last summer, where she ran a 2:02.26 in the first round.

Last year at the 757 Showdown, she only competed in the 600m, though she faced Roisin Willis of Stevens Point (WI). Gorriaran crossed the finish line in 1:27.02, which ranked her No. 3 on the all-time list and was a sophomore national class record.

Last season, she proved that she's one of the nation's most versatile athletes. She will contest in the 200m, 500m and mile this weekend.

The most exciting race will be in the 500m, as she will face Kayla Davis, though she'll face a women's field in the mile, too.
