Athletes To Watch: Solomon Washington, Johnny Brackins, Jaden Price-Whitehead
This event might be a three-man race, but what a race it could be. All three have the potential to go over 50-feet.
Brackins currently stands at US No. 1 with a mark of 50-0.25, but Washington owns the field's best overall career mark with his 50-8.5 jump from March of last year.
Price-Whitehead just earned a career best mark of 48-8 on Feb. 6.
Really, it will take any athlete catching fire at the right time for another big jump to happen, but there's little doubting this group, who are all signed with future NCAA powershouses: Texas (Washington), South Carolina (Price-Whitehead) and Southern California (Brackins).
