As usual, anything could happen in the 60m final. Six of the top 10 athletes ranked nationally in this field are entered, including the country's top four athletes: Slade, Onwuzurike, Rhetta and Schurr.

Who's feeling the heat?

It could be any number of athletes, but the one individual who won The VA Showcase might have the most cred following that big win: Udodi Onwuzurike.

The Brother Rice senior owns a US No. 1 time of 6.25 in the 55m and 6.72 in the 60m. Mount Tabor's Terrell Robinson was just a hair away from the Michigander in the same final, racing to a US No. 2 mark of 6.26.

Slade owns a US No. 1 in the 60m at 6.70.

Birmingham Parker's Jekovan Rhetta might be the biggest wildcard, owning a US No. 3 time of 6.73 seconds. He's won four of five finals in 2021, but hasn't faced the kind of potential that will be on the line this weekend.
