The Saratoga Springs team, like many teams, had to face more adversity than most when it came to competing in the 2020 season.
This squad was coming in hot, bringing back all of its scores from its 2019 Team Nationals title. Then COVID hit and the Streaks weren't able to leave the state for competition.
Regardless they made the most of the season by posting speed ratings comparable to -- if not better than -- that of the 2019 team. Saratoga won the Suburban Council Championship with all of its top five athletes clocking speed ratings of 134 or faster -- in 2019 their team's top five clocked speed ratings of 125 or better.
Based on their circumstances, this team had an absolutely phenomenal season and could have made a run as repeat team national champions.
