Judson Greer, Melissa (TX)

Greer has had one of the better careers in Texas history, and it's one that stands up to another well known Texan who graduated this past year -- Graydon Morris.

Like Morris, who competed in Class 5A, Greer also compiled three state titles over his tenure in the UIL's Class 4A bracket and did so in impressive fashion, clocking two consecutive sub-15 performances on the state course over the past two seasons, including a best of 14:34.66 in 2019.

But beyond those accolades, the University of North Carolina signee tested himself outside the state, finishing fifth at Foot Locker Nationals as a junior in 2019 and 26th at Team Nationals. That same year he also won the Foot Locker South Region.

As a senior, with COVID-19 knocking out most of the annual national competitions, Greer pivoted, winning the XC Town USA Meet of Champions a week out from his final state meet. If nothing else, Greer had something to prove: To finish out his career with another big win.

He did that and more across a four-year career, amassing a total of 19 wins.
