Portage Invitational (MI):  Nathan Karr, AA Pioneer, won the Division 1 boys race with a time of 15:24.9.  AA Pioneer won the boys Division 1 team title with 72 points and an impressive 16:03 team average.  Alexandra Leptich, Saline, won the Division 1 girls race with a time of 17:56.6.  Rockford girls won the Division 1 team title with 108 points.  Alejandro Arroyo, Culver, won the Division 2 boys race with a time of 15:31.4.  Lauren Grunewald, East Grand Rapids, won the Division 2 girls race with a time of 18:14.5.  David Madrigal, Durand, won the Division 3 boys race with a time of 15:36.4.  Devan John, Allendale, won the Division 3 girls race with a time of 18:00.7.  Kyle Stacks, Concord, won the Division 4 boys race with a time of 16:00.6.  Lindsay Neal, North Muskegon, won the Division 4 girls race with a time of 19:20.5.  Meet Page

 

Wayne County Championships (MI):  Sara Kroll, Churchill, won the girls varsity 5k race with a time of 17:25.17.  Mike Darnell, Carlson, won the boys varsity 5k race with a time of 15:58.43.  Meet Page

 

Indiana:

Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference Championships (IN):  US#4 Futsum Zeinasellassie, North Central, won the boys varsity race with a quick 15:27.2 and a 15 second gap on 2nd place John Mascari, Terre Haute North, 15:42.5.  In the boys team race Carmel and North Central came down to the wire with each scoring 49 points.  The tie-breaker went to Carmel.  Renee Wellman, Carmel, won the girls varsity race with an impressive 18:26.8.  Carmel won a close one over Center Grove, 62-63.  Meet Page

Albemarle Invitational (VA):  Ariel Karabinus, Osbourn Park, ran an incredible 18:02.78 for a new course record at Panorama Farms.  Ted Richardson, James River, won the boys varsity race with a time of 15:35.51.  Meet Page

 

Glory Days Grill Invitational (VA):  Natnael Meseret, Lee, won the boys A race with a time of 15:39.  Myah Hicks, Edison, won the girls A race with a time of 18:18.  Meet Page

Disney World XC Classic (FL):  Steven Fernandez, Colonial, had the fastest boys time of the day, running 16:17.40 on a humid Florida morning.  Kaitlyn Davis, Mountian View, had the fastest girls time with a 19:00.50.  Meet Page

 

FSU Invitational (FL):  Matt Mizereck, Leon, continues to win with a quick 15:34.27 at FSU.  Elizabeth Santoro, Maclay, had the fastest girls time on the day with a 18:28.83.  Meet Page

 

Bale N Trail (FL):  US#16 Brian Atkinson faded over the stretch after leading much of the race with Jimmy Clark winning in 15:12 and Michael Wallace 2nd in 15:17.

3rd Juniata College Eagle Invitational (PA):  Central Cambria girls won with an impressive 15 points, placing all 7 runners in the top-9.  Frosh Alyssa Brandis, Central Cambria, ran the third fastest time ever on the course, winning in 19:32.  Meet Page
