Analysis: Graydon Morris has been on the national radar since his freshman year. If he makes Foot Locker Nationals again in 2019, he will have made it all four years of his high school career. He's not only made it to the national meet but showed huge progression in his performance there as well. In 2016 as a freshman and new to the experience, he placed 34th after placing seventh at the South Regional. In 2017 he used his national experience and placed third at regionals and second at Nationals. Last year as a junior, Morris was eighth at regionals and third at nationals. This year he will be searching for the win in his senior season. On the track, Morris has clocked a 5K PR of 14:27.95 to win the Texas Distance Festival and 8:50.52 for 2 miles to place third at the Brooks PR Invitational. He was also the UIL Track and Field Class 5A 1600m (4:14.11) state champion and the 3200m runner-up (9:03.67).
